As President-elect Donald Trump is set to be inaugurated as the 47th president in just one day, one of his top policy advisers, Stephen Miller, met with Republican leadership in Congress on Sunday to discuss what executive orders Trump will sign once he takes office.
According to a report, five of the 10 executive orders are focused on the southern border, an issue that Trump hammered on the campaign trail last year and which has been the subject of much debate in the run-up to his inauguration. The rest are mostly devoted to energy policy, including declaring a national energy emergency, green-lighting offshore and Arctic drilling, and expediting pipeline licensing and construction.
