Stephen A. Smith Goes Off on ‘People Celebrating’ Charlie Kirk’s Death: ‘Shame on You!’


SiriusXM’s Stephen A. Smith on “The Stephen A. Smith Show” Thursday condemned those who were rejoicing over the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

Kirk was assassinated by a gunman while speaking at a Utah Valley University event on Wednesday.

Smith noted on his show that Kirk was a young man who left behind two children and a wife and asserted that those rejoicing should be ashamed of themselves.

“I don’t care what his political beliefs were! I don’t care what he felt! I care about the fact that a man was gunned down in front of two of his children who are 5 years of age or less,” Smith said.

“That he’s dead at the age of 31. That his wife is a widow.
