State Senate Democrat Leader Says Party Is “Dead” In His State – Changes Affiliation


Florida state Sen. Jason Pizzo, who had been the state Senate Democratic Leader, announced he’s ditching the party.

Pizzo said the “Democratic Party in Florida is dead.”

The state lawmaker said he’s switching to no party affiliation.

“I hope the members of the Democratic Caucus will elect a new leader, for, today, I have FedEx’d my voter registration form to change my party affiliation to No Party Affiliation,” Pizzo said.
