State Farm creates program to distribute LGBTQ books to kindergartners


Why is an insurance company getting involved with the sexuality of young children? The well known State Farm insurance company is asking its staff members around the country to volunteer their time to infiltrate the youth’s education.

LGBTQ-themed books will be distributed to teachers, community centers and libraries. “The project’s goal is to increase representation of LGBTQ+ books and support out communities in having challenging, important and empowering conversations with children Age 5+,” wrote Jose Soto, State Farm’s Corporate Responsibility Analyst, to all Florida agents in an email leaked by a whistleblower.

The email, which was obtained by Consumers’ Research, stated that State Farm is recruiting six agents in Florida “that would be interested in participating in this unique project, by receiving these books in March,
