On Feb. 28, the Social Security Administration will issue SSI payments to eligible beneficiaries in accordance with the agency’s mandate that recipients receive the benefits by the first day of each month.
The program gives payments to those living with disabilities that may affect their income.

The amount citizens receive depends on their status. Individual filers receive monthly payments of $967, and eligible couples receive $1,450. Essential persons, people who live with someone receiving SSI and provide them with necessary care, receive monthly payments of $484 from the program.
