
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth explained the interesting timing of events regarding the rescue mission of an F-16E airman who was shot down in Iran.
Hegseth, during a White House press briefing, shared an outline of the rescue mission involving special forces rescuing an F-16E airman who was stranded in Iran over 24 hours after ejecting from his fighter jet after being shot.
Hegseth shared that the airman went down on Good Friday, hid in a crevice in a mountain on Saturday, and on Easter morning, he was rescued and “reborn”.
