A second illegal immigrant has been arrested in connection with the theft of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s purse.
As WLT previously reported, law enforcement officials arrested Mario Bustamante Leiva, 49, after he allegedly stole DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s purse, which contained her passport, driver’s license, DHS access badge, and $3,000 in cash.
Mario Leiva was confirmed to be an illegal immigrant.

The second suspect was arrested in Miami on Sunday.
United States Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi shared, “A second suspect tied to a pattern of thefts & robberies in DC has been apprehended by Secret Service & ICE , with outstanding assistance from Miami Beach PD”
