The violent riot that erupted in the U.S. Capitol last Wednesday necessarily pulled focus away from the fact that Democrats in Georgia elected a man that would have become a #MeToo villain had he not been a Democrat running for office.
With this knowledge, it’s time to look back at the women who have been ignored by the #MeToo movement because their allegations were against prominent Democrats. This is not to say that there are not issues with some of the stories these women have told, but it is illustrative of the reality of the #MeToo movement: It doesn’t actually care about believing women. Some of the men taken down by the movement were actual predators, but as we’ve seen time and time again, allegations were weaponized to settle petty grievances. Here are some of the most prominent women whose allegations have been largely ignored because they accused Democrats:
