Russian general killed in car bombing as Trump envoy meets with Putin


A high-ranking Russian general was killed by a car bomb Friday in a suburb outside Moscow.

Lt. Gen. Yaroslav Moskalik, the deputy head of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, was killed on Friday when a car laden with explosives detonated as he passed by outside his home. A video of the explosion was posted on social media.
