Legendary Hollywood actor Robert De Niro recently announced that he’s become a father for the seventh time at the age of 79.
The Oscar-winning star was speaking with ET Canada about his new movie, “About My Father,” when he revealed the news.
“I mean, there’s no way around it with kids. I don’t like to have to lay down the law and stuff like that. But, [sometimes] you just have no choice,” De Niro said. “And any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt but sometimes you can’t.”
The interviewer asked about the actor’s six children, prompting De Niro to correct him by saying, “Seven, actually.”
