Republicans internal polling shows President Biden, Dems on their heels


Republican-funded polling shows the GOP gaining steam heading into 2022 as President Joe Biden’s support plummets in Democratic-leaning House districts.

Biden’s approval rating was underwater in four districts that he won by an average of 7 points in 2020, according to the poll, which was obtained by Politico.

On a generic ballot, registered voters in the districts were split between an unnamed Democrat and unnamed Republican with 39 percent apiece, according to the website.

The poll, conducted by The Coalition to Protect American Workers and N2 America, looked at three seats currently under Democratic control and a new district in Colorado created through redistricting: Colorado’s 8th District, Indiana’s 1st District, Oregon’s 5th District and Texas’ 28th District, Politico reported.
