EXCLUSIVE — Republican Mike Minogue, an Army veteran and businessman running for governor of Massachusetts, is spending six figures to introduce himself to voters with a primetime ad that will air during Sunday Night Football.
The Minogue campaign will run a commercial detailing his career in the military and, later, as the CEO of a medical device company during this Sunday’s matchup between the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills.
The 60-second ad, which will be broadcast in the Boston media market, is an abbreviated version of the one Minogue released on Wednesday, when he became the third major Republican candidate to announce he will challenge Gov. Maura Healey (D-MA) as she vies for a second term.
