Many Senators vowed that they would object to Electoral votes from States that committed voter fraud in the 2020 election but after the Capitol building was taken over, many lawmakers decided to go back on their word.
One Republican Representative Rep. Jody Hice, of Georgia, stayed true to her word and objected to the Georgia Election results but when Mike Pence asked if any Senator co-signed her objection she replied: “Mr. President, prior to the actions and events of today, we did, but following the events of today, it appears that some senators have withdrawn their objection.”
Kelly Loeffler who went on stage with Trump and claimed she was going to object to Georgia’s election results backed out claiming that the siege of Congress made her change her decision.
