A freshman Republican congresswoman from Illinois said Adolf Hitler was “right on one thing” during a rally held in Washington one day before pro-Trump rioters stormed the Capitol, video shows.
Rep. Mary Miller, who was elected in November, was caught on video outside the Capitol Tuesday referencing Hitler while speaking at a “Moms for America” event in response to the Constitution being “subverted” and the “integrity” of the 2020 election in question.
“Each generation has the responsibility to teach and train the next generation,” video shows Miller saying. “You know, if we win a few elections, we’re still gonna be losing unless we win the hearts and minds of our children. This is the battle. Hitler was right on one thing. He said, ‘Whoever has the youth has the future.’”
