Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene announces she will not run for Georgia Senate seat


In a lengthy post on X, Greene decried the Senate as corrupt and worthless. She argued that nothing gets done in the Senate, with true power players being wealthy donors.

“Someone once said, ‘The Senate is where good ideas go to die,’” she said. “They were right. That’s why I’m not running.”

Greene bashed Republican Senate leadership, saying it was little different now than when Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was leader. She even suggested that incumbent Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) wasn’t “the real problem.”
