Remnants Of Typhoon Rip Through Alaska, Dozens Rescued


A vicious storm in western Alaska has resulted in one death and dozens of rescues.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered the region with hurricane-force winds and floodwaters that swept homes away.

The typhoon originated in the northern Philippine Sea, and its remnants intensified the weather in western Alaska Saturday night into Sunday.
