Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) pledged to vote for holding former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Clinton in contempt of Congress only if Attorney Pam Bondi is also held in contempt.
Raskin appeared on CNN’s State of the Union Sunday, one day before the House Rules Committee will vote on whether to move the contempt measure to the floor. The measure previously passed the House Oversight Committee with bipartisan support.
“I will vote yes on contempt against them and anybody else, as long as Pam Bondi is part of it,” Raskin said. “Remember, she‘s got millions of documents that she is legally compelled to turn over under a months-old subpoena and under federal law and she‘s not doing it.”
