‘Princess Bride’ Actor Cary Elwes On Rittenhouse Trial: ‘Another Disappointing Victory For White Vigilantism’


Cary Elwes — who played lead character Westley in “The Princess Bride” — forwarded a leftist narrative about the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.

During a riot last year in Kenosha, Wisconsin, then-17-year-old Rittenhouse — acting in self-defense — killed two men and injured a third. On Friday afternoon, Rittenhouse was cleared of all charges.

Elwes, however, was not the only celebrity to comment on the case.

“We just witnessed a system built on white supremacy validate the terroristic acts of a white supremacist,” claimed former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick. “This only further validates the need to abolish our current system. White supremacy cannot be reformed.”
