Lawyers for Prince Andrew are working overtime — to avoid going to court.
A London private investigator, Cesar Sepulveda, confirmed in a Manhattan Federal Court filing he brought the papers to Andrew at his Royal Lodge home at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 27, despite being thwarted in his attempts to serve the prince personally.
And the prince’s lawyer, Gary Bloxsome, is pushing to get the entire case tossed on a technicality, arguing a document Roberts signed in 2009 may render her legal action invalid.
Giuffre’s lawsuit claims she was “forced to have sexual intercourse with Prince Andrew against her will” at the behest of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and accused madam Ghislaine Maxwell.
“Prince Andrew’s actions constitute sexual offenses” including first- and third-degree rape, Giuffre charges in court papers, citing New York
