President Trump has responded to the deadly shooting at Florida State University that has left two dead and several injured.
On Thursday afternoon, alleged FSU gunman 20-year-old Phoenix Ikner opened fire inside Florida State’s student union building.
Ikner allegedly used his mother’s gun, who is a former Sheriff’s deputy, and opened fire inside the student union, killing two and injuring six others.
While taking questions inside the Oval Office, a member of the press asked Trump if he was planning to support gun laws in response to the shooting.
Trump responded, “I‘m a big advocate of the Second Amendment; I have been from the beginning; I protected it.”
He added, “These things are terrible. But the gun doesn‘t do the sh**ting, the people do.”
