Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) continued to object to raising the debt ceiling for government spending as his chamber is about to vote on the Big Beautiful Bill Act, calling for Congress to reign in its debt expansion.
Paul is not the only critic of the spending and tax legislation. The bill has come under scrutiny from Republican senators for costing some $400 billion in tax cuts. Paul appeared on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo to detail his objections, which do not include the tax cuts since he supports them.
