Woke professors at Oxford University are pushing a ban on sheet music and an end to the focus on classical European composers — claiming the prestigious UK institution would be complicit in “white supremacy” otherwise.
The faculty board came up with a series of radical changes to “enhance the diversity” of the music curriculum “arising from international Black Lives Matter demonstrations,” The Telegraph said, citing internal documents about the proposals.
The board seeks to address a “white hegemony” — including the historic use of musical notation which it calls a “colonialist representational system,” the report said.

Teaching it would be a “slap in the face” for some students because of its “connection to its colonial past,” the board reportedly complained.
