Over 18,000 Unaccompanied Migrant Children Released Unto U.S. Interior in August


The month of August saw the Biden administration release 18,000 unaccompanied migrant children into the interior of the United States, while an additional 16,000 remain detained and are waiting to be released. 

According to a report from Breitbart News, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released close to 605 unaccompanied migrant children to sponsors throughout the country every single day last month. Concurrently, Border Patrol agents apprehended a daily average of 518 illegal border crossers.

Compared to last year’s totals, the number of unaccompanied migrants children who’ve illegally entered the United States in the fiscal year of 2021 has risen by a shocking 250 percent, with nearly 114,000 apprehended between the months of October and July,
