More than 100 people were detained at a Colorado nightclub overnight on Sunday, with authorities saying they were illegal immigrants.
Agents with the DEA, among other agencies, performed a drug raid on what they described as an underground nightclub in a Colorado Springs strip mall. Several active-duty military members were also at the club during the raid, with some alleged to have been involved in the operation.
“What was happening inside was significant drug trafficking, prostitution, crimes of violence,” DEA Rocky Mountain Division Special Agent in Charge Jonathan Pullen said at a news conference Sunday morning. “We seized a number of guns in there.
