Most SSI payments are issued on the first of every month, including October. However, the following November payment will be issued on Oct. 31, since Nov. 1 falls on a weekend this year.
Beneficiaries are individuals with limited income who are either blind, aged 65 and older, or have a qualifying disability.

The amount recipients receive varies based on several factors, including the number of people filing. Individuals, for instance, can receive up to $967, couples filing together can receive $1,450, and essential people providing necessary care to SSI recipients can receive up to $484.
January SSI payments increased by 2.5% to keep pace with inflation.
