November Supplemental Security Income payments, worth up to $967, will be issued to recipients in 27 days.
While most SSI payments are issued on the first of every month, November payments will be issued on Oct. 31, the day before November starts, since Nov. 1 falls on a weekend this year. When the first of the month falls on a weekend or a holiday, SSI payments go out on the last day of the previous month that isn’t a weekend.
Beneficiaries are individuals with limited income who are either blind, 65 and older, or have another qualifying disability.
