November Social Security direct payment worth $967 goes out in 18 days

November Supplemental Security Income payments, worth up to $967, will be issued to recipients in 18 days.

While most SSI payments are issued on the 1st of every month, November payments will be issued the day before the month starts, since Nov. 1 falls on a weekend this year. When the 1st of a month falls on either a weekend or a holiday, SSI payments go out on the last day of a month that isn’t a weekend.

Beneficiaries are individuals with limited income who are either blind, aged 65 and older, or have a qualifying disability.
