Actress Halle Berry said she asked Drake not to use a photo of her covered in slime while promoting his new single, but he did it anyway.
Drake and SZA used an image of Berry covered in green slime that was taken at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards as the cover art for the song “Slime You Out,” which was just released on September 15.
Berry addressed the situation on Instagram. The 57-year-old Academy Award winner posted a photo of a quote that says, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy…even if you’re a woman,” and mentioned in the comments that the quote was addressing Drake’s decision to use the photo without her approval.
“Didn’t get my permission. That’s not cool. I thought better of him!”
