
Washington Examiner columnist Salena Zito said the “No Kings” protests are not drawing “new” people into their coalition.
The third nationwide No Kings protests against the Trump administration were held on Saturday. Zito said she thinks the protests are “so dumb,” but said she noticed a “really important” point when watching two rallies in Pittsburgh and Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
Zito said former Democratic Pennsylvania Rep. Conor Lamb spoke at a protest in Mount Lebanon and realized while watching it online that “I know almost everyone” there.
“There’s no one new in this crowd. They’re the same crowd regurgitated every time,” Zito said on the Hugh Hewitt Show. “Are the crowds sizable? Yes. But they’re not new.”
