The lawyer for a New Jersey couple who was briefly ejected from a Spirit Airlines flight over their 2-year-old daughter not wearing a mask has demanded the carrier apologize — or face possible legal action.
Michael Inzelbuch, an attorney representing Ari and Avital Eisenberg, said the couple was treated disrespectfully when they were booted along with their two children as their flight was about to depart from Orlando, Florida, the Asbury Park Press reported.
“We’re not asking for boycotts. We’re not asking for marches. We are asking at this point for two words: ‘I’m sorry,’” Inzelbuch said at a press conference Tuesday.
The Toms River couple had been traveling with their 2-year-old daughter and their 7-year-old son who has special needs, Inzelbuch said.
