New Georgia Election Rule Prompts Lawsuit From Democratic Party


The Democratic Party filed a lawsuit to block a new Georgia election rule requiring officials to hand-count ballots in local precincts.

A group including the Democratic National Committee and Georgia Democratic Party sued the Georgia State Election Board after the rule passed last month.
