So far the thieves have made a clean break.

European choco-behemoth Nestlé has addressed the hijacking of a truckload of hundreds of thousands of KitKat bars, pledging there will still be plenty left for the Easter bunny.

“We can confirm that 12T of KitKat products were stolen while in transit between our factory in Central Italy and their destination in Poland,” KitKat wrote on their official X account Sunday.

“We are working closely with local authorities and supply chain partners to investigate. The good news: There are no concerns for consumer safety, and supply is not affected. Thank you.”

The heist has become a viral sensation — with the Kit Kat statement alone racking up 87 million views and tens of thousands of retweets.
