Nearly 10,000 Cases Of Apple Juice Sold At Walmart Recalled


Walmart has recalled nearly 10,000 cases of apple juice sold in stores across the United States due to high levels of arsenic.

“The U.S. Food and Drug Administration gave the recall a more urgent classification Friday after making its original announcement Aug. 15,” the Associated Press noted.

The agency changed the recall from ‘unclassified’ to ‘class II.’

A ‘class II’ recall indicates a “situation in which use of, or exposure to, a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”
