The 2024 presidential debate is underway, and JD Vance has taken command of the debate.
Within the first 20 minutes of the debate, the CBS moderators routinely offered fact-checks at the end of each JD Vance statement.
After noticing the continued fact-checks, JD Vance called out the moderators and stated, “Since you’re fact-checking me, I am going to fact-check you.”

As a result, the CBS moderators later muted Vance’s microphone.
