The mother of deceased Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick suspects that her son had a stroke after the fateful January 6th protest and riot.
74-year old Gladys Sicknick told the Daily Mail that the family still doesn’t know exactly what happened, but that Officer Sicknick was not struck on the head with a fire extinguish, contrary to false reports.
“He wasn’t hit on the head, no. We think he had a stroke, but we don’t know anything for sure.
We’d love to know what happened.“
The New York Times had falsely reported that Sicknick died after being struck on the head with a fire extinguisher, later going on to quietly retract reporting that had described the 42-year old police officer’s death as a homicide.
