A financial expert is urging Americans to dramatically rethink their holiday shopping lists, including cutting out gifts for adult extended family members, as families across the country brace for Christmas gift shopping.
Appearing on Fox News, personal finance coach Jade Warshaw warned viewers to rein in spending and prioritize children when setting a holiday budget.
“Budget, budget, budget, you need a plan. Also remember, adults don’t need gifts, okay? Focus on the people in your life who are age 3 to 18. Grandma doesn’t need slippers. If they don’t live by you, don’t get them a gift,” Warshaw told host Dana Perino.
