Missouri man who threatened to kill tech CEO busted for child porn


A Missouri man who threatened to kill tech CEOs was busted for child porn and had a “child-like sex doll” in his bedroom closet, authorities said.

Matthew Bryan Thilges, 56, of Jefferson County, pleaded not guilty Tuesday in US District Court in St. Louis to charges of attempted production of child porn and receipt of child porn, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

An investigation into Thilges started in July when he began threatening the lives of tech workers in YouTube comments, according to an FBI affidavit in the case.

Thilges said he wanted to “stick a sword right through” YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki and also targeted Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, saying he “must die,” FBI Special Agent Kyle Storm wrote in the affidavit.

Thilges also used email addresses directly disparaging Twitter and Google, including “jackisaterrorist” and guugleisfascistpig,” charging document show.

Thilges then turned his ire to Democrats, government workers and law enforcement by October, writing that people are “obligated”
