A Missouri man hid a video camera in his bathroom during a pool party at his home, recording several guests — who confronted him about the depraved act a day later, authorities said.
Kyle Jon Vandermolen, 40, of St. Charles, was arrested Wednesday on a felony charge of invasion of privacy after a woman using a bathroom at his home during an Aug. 29 pool party found a “covert video surveillance camera” pointed at the toilet, according to charges filed by St. Charles County Prosecutor Tim Lohmar.
Cops said in a probable cause statement that about 20 people were at the gathering. The woman who allegedly found the device removed its memory and told her husband, as well as Vandermolen’s wife, before taking it home with her, authorities said.
The memory card had 11 videos on it that were taped earlier that day, including two clips of the hubby of the woman who discovered the hidden camera
