Virginia police announced Tuesday that a missing high school coach is wanted for 10 counts of various criminal charges, including child pornography and soliciting a minor.
Police are actively searching for Travis Turner, 46, after he disappeared last week. Authorities were heading toward his residence in Appalachia, Virginia, on Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation, not to arrest him, but learned on their way that he was no longer there.
The football coach for Union High School is wanted for five counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of using a computer to solicit a minor. Police obtained the warrant for these charges on Monday, and Turner is now considered a fugitive.
