A member of Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s security detail was arrested in Brussels last week.
A Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) supervisor who was assigned to Rubio was arrested while Rubio was visiting Europe last week.
The State Department said in a statement that it is “aware of allegations of an incident involving an employee in Brussels” and is currently investigating the incident.
According to The Hill, the supervisor was arrested by local police after acting erratically at Brussels’s Hotel Amigo after staff at the bar would not open it after business hours.
