Mayorkas refutes critics following terrorist attacks: Safety is ‘highest responsibility’


During the New Year’s Day celebration in New Orleans, Shamsud-Din Jabbar subverted a police barricade and drove through the crowds before shooting and killing fifteen people. In another case, a man parked a Tesla Cybertruck outside of the glass doors to the Las Vegas Trump Hotel, and fifteen seconds later, the driver detonated the vehicle.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) called out the Biden administration for being “completely derelict in its duty.” While both these suspects were American citizens, Johnson has long raised alarm bells over possible terrorists coming over the border under Mayorkas’s watch.
