A 5-alarm fire erupted at an apartment complex in the Bronx early Friday morning, injuring multiple people.
“The fire broke out in the upper floors of the building on Wallace Avenue just before 1:45 a.m. on Friday and was finally under control just before 2 p.m.,” ABC7 New York noted.
“Approximately 200 Fire and EMS personnel are operating at the scene of the 5-alarm fire on Wallace Avenue in the Bronx,” FDNY stated.

“Heavy fire destroyed all the apartments on the top floor, burned through the roof,” FDNY Chief of Department John Esposito said, according to ABC7
