Marc Thiessen says it was ‘shameful’ Harris did not call Trump Tuesday night


Former President George W. Bush speechwriter Marc Thiessen said on Fox News following President-elect Donald Trump‘s victory speech Tuesday night that it was “shameful” that Vice President Kamala Harris had not called her opponent to congratulate him.

“Having written presidential speeches, the thing that jumped out at me is that most of the speeches begin with ‘I just received a call from my opponent who graciously conceded the election. I thanked her and congratulated her on a well-thought campaign,’” he said to the Fox News election night panel.

He added, “Has Kamala Harris not called him?”
