Man with signs referencing Trump barricades himself inside car outside Los Angeles City Hall


A man drove his car in front of Los Angeles City Hall and barricaded himself inside on Friday afternoon. The car appeared to have signs pleading with President Donald Trump for help.

“Don’t want to hurt nobody” and “I need ur help D Trump US vet,” the signs read.

City Hall was evacuated, and the motorist was taken into custody after a two-hour standoff. The incident happened around 4:10 p.m. local time with a black sedan hopping the curb to come to rest just outside the City Hall steps.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies evacuated a nearby park due to a bomb threat and a SWAT team made contact with the man.
