Mamdani leads Cuomo by four points, 52% to 48%, in the eighth and final round of a ranked choice simulation, according to a new Emerson College survey. No other mayoral candidates made it to the final round. Ranked choice voting allows voters to select up to five candidates in order of preference.
The new results may spell trouble for Cuomo, whose numbers largely remained stagnant in the past several months of polling.
