Magnolia Network Reinstates Canceled ‘Home Work,’ Says There Was No ‘Ill Or Malicious Intent’


It looks like “Home Work” is heading back to Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Network after several days of controversy.

The series is being reinstated after no “ill or malicious intent” was discovered by Magnolia following an investigation. The new network is being run by Chip and Joanna Gaines, who rose to fame on their hit HGTV show “Fixer Upper.” Magnolia is their highly anticipated project which replaced DIY Network under the Discovery umbrella. Magnolia launched with a catalog of lifestyle programming in the same vein as the Gaines’ beloved renovation program.

But the “Home Work” controversy has cast a dark shadow on that rebranding effort. Several homeowners came together alleging that Utah-based home renovators Andy and Candis Meredith left them with unfinished projects and shoddy workmanship.
