Drones recently captured footage of five ocean liners being scrapped for metal amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The photos were taken in Izmir, Turkey on Oct. 2, according to an article published Monday by the New York Post. Coronavirus shut down most cruises back in March, leading to economic fallout for the industry that has yet to recover.

All guests were tested twice for COVID-19 before boarding the ship. One passenger reportedly tested positive at both stages and was not allowed to board.
