Lauren Boebert is right: GOP, not Dems, should be codifying Trump’s executive orders


Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) made a lot of sense earlier this week when she pointed out that a Democrat was introducing legislation to codify one of President Donald Trump’s executive orders. It was an observation for which she should be applauded and one that Republicans in the House should be embarrassed by. 

On Wednesday, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) took to the House floor and announced his intention to introduce legislation codifying Trump’s executive order to reduce drug prices.

“I rise today to introduce as legislation President Trump’s executive order for the most favored nation status on drug pricing,” said Khanna. “My legislation will codify President Trump’s executive order, which basically says that Americans should not pay more for drugs than people in other countries and other parts
