President Trump’s daughter in-law has silenced all speculation that she would run for North Carolina’s open Senate seat.
Lara Trump announced on stage at the North Carolina GOP Convention that she would not run for the Senate in 2022.
She stated that her reason for not running is due to the fact she wants to spend more time with her two young toddlers.
Lara didn’t give up on the idea of running in the future though and was quoted saying ‘but I am saying no for now, not no for ever, just so you know.’
President Trump who I’m sure was the first to know about Lara’s decision ended up giving his endorsement to North Carolina Representative Ted Budd to replace RINO Senator Richard Burr.
