Kyle Rittenhouse, who rose to fame in conservative circles during the pandemic, is now nowhere to be seen online.
Rittenhouse, who was 17 at the time, was acquitted of all charges related to the deaths of Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26, during the 2020 riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Following the ruling in 2021, President Donald Trump celebrated the decision on social media and later hosted Rittenhouse at Mar-a-Lago. Rittenhouse later spoke at conservative conferences and made numerous television appearances.
The teenager commemorated the anniversary of his acquittal on X, a week after becoming verified on the platform. He also started an Instagram profile called Tactically Inappropriate with his friends and a podcast by the same name on YouTube.
